Greece - Caryatids


My friend Niki has sent to me this special postcard of the greek post-office! It shows the...
...famous Caryatid, a sculpted female figure serving as an architectural support taking the place of a column or a pilar supporting an entablature on her head, which were in the Acropolis of Athens and, according her, one of them was stolen and now it's in the Britannic Museum.
